Healthcare services

Serveis Clínics, as a CatSalut provider centre, offers comprehensive care to people with tuberculosis both in admission and in the community. On the one hand, it has an internment resource where care is offered 24 hours a day. On the other hand, through the ETODA, the care team travels daily to where the person is to ensure that the treatment is monitored until it is cured.

Care at the clinic

Admission to the centre offers a safe and specialised environment for people with tuberculosis who, for clinical, social or vulnerable reasons, need support and follow-up during treatment. Through a multidisciplinary team, we provide comprehensive care that responds to the clinical, social and emotional needs of each person, promoting their well-being, adherence to treatment and recovery.

HEALTH CARE

Health care also focuses on aspects of prevention and health promotion where health education and the promotion of healthy habits also become a priority for the person to leave with better habits and knowledge in health. This translates into training sessions on tuberculosis and other coexisting health problems, adherence to treatment, general healthy habits, coexistence and emotional health, among others.

PSYCHOSOCIAL CARE

Services of the center

At Serveis Clínics we provide the people we care for with a portfolio of specialised services that respond to the care, psychological and social needs that may arise during the treatment of tuberculosis.

The ETODA of Serveis Clínics is a specialized community support service for the follow-up of people with tuberculosis, including cases with drug resistance or at risk of difficulties in adherence to treatment.

The ETODA team supports people wherever they are, whether at home or in any place agreed with the person, establishing a therapeutic and trust relationship and a constant communication with hospitals, social services and public health professionals.

Through Directly Observed Treatment (DOT), a strategy recommended by the World Health Organization (WHO), care is provided that addresses both clinical and social aspects, with the aim of promoting adherence to treatment, safety and continuity of care.
