Tuberculosis and Mental Health: Serveis Clínics participates in the European consensus document

The integration of mental health into TB care is critical, but its implementation remains limited to the WHO European Region. A survey of experts revealed a scarce existence of integrated guides and a low application of systematic screening, which led to a Delphi process that defined key recommendations such as validated tools, referral routes and better coordination between services. The consensus document recalls the need to strengthen routine screening, care coordination and the implementation of these recommendations to achieve more equitable and patient-centered care with tuberculosis.
